Mi Road Trip con mi nuevo compañero me llevó de Venice Beach hasta el bonito pueblo de San Luis Obispo, siguiendo en el estado de California. Al salir de San Luis, tomé por error la Green Valley Rd, una carretera casi fantasma que lleva hasta un premonitorio lugar llamado Happy Hill. Y fue recorriendo esta inesperada ruta hacia el monte de la felicidad que me topé con mi Magic Bus Particular, un camión abandonado muy parecido al que se encontró Chris McCandless en su viaje “Into the Wild”.
Y esta bonita sincronicidad me regaló también un bonito atardecer contemplando la belleza de los prados del “Green Valley” y recordando las reflexiones que Chris McCandlees dejó anotadas en su diario. Recordando especialmente las palabras que escribió Chris cuando intentó abandonar sin éxito su autobús mágico: “La felicidad solo es real cuando es compartida”. Definitivamente no me voy a quedar sólo en este precioso lugar abandonado.
Aquí dejo un nuevo Supertramp en memoria de Chris y sigo mi viaje hacia el monte de la felicidad.
My Road Trip with my new friend took me to the pretty village of San Luis Obispo, within the borders of the state of California. After leaving San Luis, I mistakenly took Green Valley Rd, an almost ghost road which leads to a ominous place called Happy Hill. And it was in this unexpected route to the hill of happiness that I came across my own special Magic Bus, an abandoned truck very similar to that found by Chris McCandless on his "Into the Wild" journey.
And this beautiful synchronicity also gave me a beautiful sunset while contemplating the beauty of the "Green Valley" meadows and recalling the thoughts that Chris McCandlees noted in his diary. Recalling in particular the words written by Chris when he tried, unsuccessfully, to abandon his magic bus, "Happiness is only real when shared". I will definitely not remain alone in this beautiful abandoned place.
Here I leave you with a new Supertramp in memory of Chris, and I continue my journey to the hill of happiness.
