Today it has been three weeks since I received an interesting e-mail from Jaume Barberá, the program director of Singulars TV3, in which I appeared recently (see interview). In this e-mail, Jaume introduced me to Ricardo Bellino, a very well know Brazialian entrepreneur who also appeared recently in Singulars (see interview). For this reason, before anything, I would like to thank Jaume Barberà for everything that has occured after his e-mail.
Connected via Jaume, Ricardo sent me an e-mail inviting me to have a videoconference with him where he was giving me three minutes to explain "Imagine" so we could explore collaborations with his ambitious project "School of Life". I think I will save the first words of Ricardo "Hi Xavier, greetings from Key Biscayne, call me when you have 3 minutes". A quite intimidating beginning considering that Ricardo Bellino is know worldwide, among many other successes, for having attained a 500 million investment deal from Donald Trump in only three minutes. An amazing feat that he explains in his fantastic book "you have 3 minutes".
It seems as if everything turned out pretty well because 10 days after our first chat, Ricardo flew to San Francisco to learn about Imagine first hand and to have a better understanding of the entrepreneurship ecosystem of Silicon Valley. We spent three days together with Rosa in which we were able to meet with many collaborators of Imagine, visit many companies and have long walks in continuous brainstorming mode.
These very productive three days ended in the Far Niente Winery with the signature of the first agreement between the School of Life and Imagine. An agreement that we will announce in the near future and that has as its main goal to join efforts to detect talent and train entrepreneurs around the world. Very soon I will try to explain it all in 3 minutes.

Hoy se cumplen 3 semanas desde que que recibí un interesante email de Jaume Barberà, el director del programa Singulars de TV3 en el que aparecí recientemente (ver entrevista). En dicho email, Jaume me ponía en contacto con el empresario brasileño Ricardo Bellino quien también participó recientemente en Singulars (ver entrevista Ricardo). Vaya pues por delante mi agradecimiento a Jaume Barberá por todo lo que ha sucedido a partir de su email.
Conectado a través de Jaume, Ricardo me escribió un nuevo email emplazándome a una videoconferencia en la que me daba 3 minutos para que le explicara que era “imagine” para explorar colaboraciones con su ambicioso proyecto “School of life”. Creo que voy a guardar las primeras palabras de Ricardo “Hi Xavier, greetings from Key Biscayne, call me when you have 3 minutes”. Un inicio bastante intimidatorio teniendo en cuenta que Ricardo Bellino es mundialmente conocido, entre muchos otros éxitos, por haber conseguido 500 millones de inversión de Donald Trump en tan solo 3 minutos, una azaña ejemplar que el mismo cuenta en su fantástico libro “you have 3 minutes”.
Bueno, parece que la cosa salió bastante bien porque a los 10 días de nuestra primera charla, Ricardo se vino a San Francisco para conocer de primera mano Imagine y entender mejor el ecosistema de emprendimiento del Silicon Valley. Al final hemos pasado 3 días juntos con Rosa en el que hemos podido reunirnos con muchos de los colaboradores de Imagine, hemos visitado muchas empresas y hemos caminado muchísimo en modo brainstorming continuo.
Han sido 3 días muy productivos que terminan en la Winery Far Niente con la firma de un primer acuerdo entre School of Life e Imagine. Un acuerdo que ya comunicaremos en un futuro próximo y que tiene como principal objetivo unir esfuerzos para la detección de talento y formación de emprendedores de todo el mundo. Muy pronto lo intento contar todo en 3 minutos.
